Receiving a stream is pretty easy - you basically need only the tools to receive an usual Internet radio station. To prevent problems the buffer size can be adjusted and also controlled using specific software.

To check if really everything is working propperly, it is necessary to check now and then the status page of the streaming server - here the senders (sources) and the listeners (receivers) are shown.
